When you are scared, sometimes life just pushes you forward! As a young girl, I would have never imagined standing in front of a group of women and leading a presentation. But God is always intentional in our placements. 🙏🏽
This moment was my very first time speaking at a Women's Retreat held at the Mercy Center in Missouri for Women Impacted by Cancer. My presentation and demo, "The Art of the Scarf," came from my heart — but truthfully, I was terrified. I worried if I would connect, if my message would land.
But something powerful happened. My inner voice rose up, and I went with the flow. That day taught me that courage doesn't mean not being afraid — it means moving forward anyway.
As I was doing some digital cleaning, this photo popped up — a beautiful reminder of how far I’ve come in my journey as a social entrepreneur and speaker.
